I bought this for my son about a year ago after we were in a car accident on the freeway. Both of my children were in Britax carseats at the time and they really lived up to their reputation. The other driver hit us from behind going pretty fast and I was slightly hurt but both of my kids were perfectly fine, in fact my daughter didn't even wake up(she was in a Roundabout forward facing and my son was in a Husky-no longer made).
The insurance company paid to replace their carseats so I choose this one for my son since he was 5 years old and didn't need the 5-point harness anymore. He loves this seat, it is totally comfortable and easy to adjust as he gets taller. I drive some of my son's classmates home from school for my part of a carpool and they all fight over who gets to sit in this seat because it is so comfortable to them and they are all in the 1st grade! This booster is great for older kids, the other comments that complain about it not attaching or teethering to the seat in the vehicle didn't read the description carefully. If you are a parent who is trying to keep your child in a booster seat for as long as you can for their safety then this is one to consider... it is comfortable for older children, supersafe, and easy to use!

This is a great booster, but is very narrow. My daughter has a hard time sitting in it with her heavy winter coat. I am returning this one and ordering the Britax Monarch. It is supposed to be wider. Worth the extra $50 for her comfort and safety.

I bought this car seat for my daughter, and we love it. It fits really well in to smaller cars, and fits her body very well, even with a large bulky coat on. The headrests make it easy for her to nap. My only little complaint is that the cup holders don't reliably hold cups, (there very shallow).

I am an RN and bought this for my grandson BECAUSE of the headrest wings. Without the headrest wings, in a side impact collision (one that would not otherwise be fatal)your child's neck will not withstand the side impact and the spinal cord will be damaged and death will result. A child came into our ER with this very injury from this type of accident and died. Remember when adults thought wearing seatbelts were "annoying". I highly recommend this seat. My grandson loves it--he's six and tall for his age.

Not for Big Kids

I purchased 2 of the Britax Parkway Booster seats for my 2 older boys ages 3 and 5. My kids are on the higher end of the scale usually in the 95th percentile for height and weight. My boys looked like they were falling out of the seat. I don't think the bottom seat is long enough. Also the head wings made the kids annoyed and since there are no armrests they could't hold themselves in the seat. Cupholders are ok and the seat cushion is very thick and plush which was the only good thing about this product. I think if you have tiny kids it may work better, but it's just not designed for BIG kids. Needless to say...I returned them! Found the Cosco booster seat to work much better for my guys.

I bought this car seat for my son a few months ago, and loved it too when it first arrived. but to my disappointment I noticed that when my son falls asleep his head either falls back too far causing his neck to hurt when he wakes up from his nap crying or his head falls forward causing his neck to hurt again. A friend told me about this but said if you automobile seat reclines back a little then they will be fine, but what about cars that don't do that. So would I reccomend this seat, yes but if you travel a lot thenI would consider another seat.

Love this seat. Very comfy and lightweight. The pros are that the kids can get in and out easily on their own. The cons are now the kids can get in and out easily on their own.

I bought this car seat for my son because it was "Britax" and I loved his roundabout car seat. But he rode in it for a month before he broke the headrest and the cover on the headrest broke shortly after, Britax was awsome and replaced it right away but within two months the headrest broke again. Shortly before I got his I had bought my daughter a Compass because the store was out of Briax at the time. I just threw it away and got the Compass folding booster. I love it and so far no problems.

My daughter is tall and slim. We loved what the Britax Parkway looked and felt like when it arrived at our front door - the fabric is nice, it is very well cushioned etc... However, when we went to put her in it the next morning - she couldn't sit comfortably as her head, neck, and shoulders, seemed too wide for the very narrow top portion. I took my daughter and the booster to AAA, to have them take a look at it - maybe I had done something wrong in installing it?!? The people there were shocked. As experts in installing car seats and boosters, they have never seen a booster made so narrow. If you live in a climate that requires a jacket (not even a big puffy one), or your child is anything but small and petite - then this is NOT the booster for you. I am returning this tomorrow.

I replaced my daughter's Graco booster seat with this one, and it is awesome! It's so much more comfortable for her and I feel better that it's a lot safer. My only complaint is the shallow cup holders. Britax are the best seats out there and worth every penny.
